Halloween Poems

1. We identified words that rhymed in different Halloween poems.
2. We learned how to form rhymes and other strategies to make poems.
3. We worked in pairs to write our own Halloween poem.
4. We had different strategies to plan our poems: some of us made drawings and others thought about Halloween characters and words we could use that rhymed.
5. We wrote our poems and made appropriate drawings to illustrate our ideas.
